Connect Church offers an incredible program for children ages birth - 11 years of age called Connect Kids. The children’s ministry meets during the adult worship service time. Currently this program is centered around a science theme. Children are divided into 2 main groups. The Squeaky Beakers and the Lab Assistants.

Squeaky Beakers

This group is for children ages birth - 4.  Children in this age group participate in a fun time of Bible study, singing, crafts and playtime utilizing the First Look curriculum.  First Look uses Scripture to focus on three foundational truths:  God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Lab Assistants

This is for children in grades K - 5.  The Lab Assistants participate in an exciting time of Bible study, singing and crafts.  This age group utilizes the 252 Basics curriculum.  This educational and fun curriculum teaches children key truths and stories from Scripture.  It focuses on the following three basic truths: I need to make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Rewards Program
Connect Kids offers children an incentive program that allows them to earn points for positive behavior such as attendance, listening, and bringing their Bible. As kids accumulate points they can trade them in on an award day.

Family Worship
Connect offers a time for families to worship together on Sunday mornings. Near the end of the main worship service parents are dismissed to pick up their children from Connect Kids. Families are then encouraged to return to the worship area to take time to worship together as a family.

Check In & Check Out:
All children must be checked in and out by a parent or guardian. Please do not send an older sibling. Each child is checked in and given a name tag for identification. Each family will receive a matching name tag. Parents/guardians must keep this name tag until they are ready to check out their children.

In order to check out a child parents must present the appropriate name tag. Connect Kids volunteers will not allow a child to leave without the appropriate name tag. If you lose your name tag Connect Kids volunteers will require a Connect Staff approval to release your child. Please respect this policy as it ensures the safety of your children.

Security
Please rest assured that we take all measures to insure the safety and security of your children while in our care. We process background checks for every Connect Kids volunteer.

Well Child Policy
For the health and well being of the children and our volunteers the Connect Kids areas are “Well Child Rooms.” If you have any reason to believe your child is ill or becoming ill, please keep them with you in church. Please keep your child with you if any of the following exists:
• Fever within the last 24 hours
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Common cold, sore throat or excessive coughing
• Any unexplained rash or skin infection
• Known contagious conditions like chicken pox or pink eye
